Mrs. Eliza Williams succumbed at her home, 612 W. Market Street this afternoon about 1 o’clock. She was 71 years old and had been in poor health the past several months. She died immediately following a second paralytic stroke. She was confined to Culver Hospital about two months and during the past two months has been critically ill at her home. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Her husband, Lemuel Williams preceded her in death a few years ago. No immediate relatives survive Mrs. William.
